What is Amores?
Amores is a SFW My Hero Academia zine centering around the characters Bakugou Katsuki and Izuku Midoriya. The zine’s theme is around cooking!
Amores literally means “Sweethearts” in portuguese. What better way to say "I love you" than through food?Is this zine for-profit?
Yes, this zine is for-profit. The net profit will be distributed evenly amongst all contributors and mods.Will this zine be physical or digital?
We aim to have a physical zine with physical merch (with a digital option as well, of course!) but this will depend on our interest check.Can minors participate?
As this is for-profit zine, minors will not be able to participate. All potential contributors must be 18+ when they apply.If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask them in our retrospring!

Guidelines
PLEASE NOTE: Information listed below will be finalized upon review of interest check resultsGENERAL APP REQUIREMENTS:- All applicants must be 18 years of age or older at the time of application
- Applicants may apply for more than one position, but we cannot guarantee that they will be accepted for multiple positions
- Please tag all content as needed! We will provide a section for CWs/TWs in the application form.
- Please make sure link sharing is on, so that we can properly view your samples. Samples that do not have link sharing turned on will not be considered
- Applications that do not fit our guidelines will not be consideredWRITERS:
Amores will be accepting 6 writers through applications
- Two samples are required (with an optional third sample), each of which should be between 2,000 and 4,000 words
- All samples must be SFW.
- At least one sample must feature Izuku and Katsuki in a romantic relationship
- At least one sample must be a full, completed piece
- Your other samples may be excerpts—however, they must be able to stand alone
- A link to your portfolio (Google Drive, Ao3, etc.) is recommended, but not required
- Samples may be submitted as Ao3 links, however Google Drive links are preferred
- Links to Twitter threads will not be considered, so if you wish to submit a thread, please copy it into a document firstPAGE ARTISTS:
Amores will be accepting 9 page artists through applications, where 7 will be spot artists
- Three samples are required
- All samples must be SFW
- At least one sample featuring Izuku is recommended, but not required
- At least one sample featuring Katsuki is recommended, but not required
- At least one sample must have a full background
- At least one sample must have food illustration
- All samples must be full colored
- A link to your portfolio (Google Drive, etc.) containing at least five samples is required
- Samples may be submitted as Twitter links, however Google Drive links are preferredMERCH ARTISTS:
Amores will be accepting 4 merch artists through applications.
- Three samples are required
- Merchandise samples are highly encouraged, but not required.
- At least one sample featuring Izuku is recommended, but not required
- At least one sample featuring Katsuki is recommended, but not required
- At least one sample must have a full background if you wish to create a print
- All samples must be full colored
- A link to your portfolio (Google Drive, etc.) containing at least five samples is required
- Samples may be submitted as Twitter links, however Google Drive links are preferredCHEFS
Amores will be accepting 8 chefs through applications
- Three original recipes are required
- At least 1 of the recipes must be accompanied with a picture of the end result
- The recipes must indicate serving sizes and include both imperial and metric measurements
- Samples may be submitted as Twitter links, however Google Drive links are preferred
